humanIT: Connecting people with information technology
Can you imagine what 'human information technology' is? Because one could interpret the company name, humanIT, in a literal sense.
This is precisely where the core of our company philosophy lies: humanIT connects people and information technology by developing software solutions in which the people play the most important role. Our solutions accommodate and support patterns of human thinking and working.
humanIT was founded in 1997 as a spin-off of GMD, currently Fraunhofer Institut für Angewandte Informationstechnik FIT (Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology). Since 2003, the company has been a fully owned subsidiary of the ERP provider proALPHA Software AG, Weilerbach, run by Leo Ernst and Ralph Gattinger. The company employs some 450 personnel throughout Germany.
humanIT Software GmbH manages the development and sale of the product InfoZoom at its Bonn site. It also offers advisory and consulting services together with seminars, workshops and support.
